We are taught you must blame your father, your sisters, your brothers, the school, the teachers - but never blame yourself. It’s never your fault. But it’s always your fault, because if you wanted to change you’re the one who has got to change.

Being a nice person is so fun

Waiter messes something up? You can see the relief on their faces when you don’t scream and swear at them about it

Extra tickets at an arcade/prize place? Watch a little kid’s face light up when you give them a bunch of tickets

There are too many assholes in this world. Be a nice person.

We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.

I didn’t go looking for it, and when it came along it was closer than I thought. It was unexpected and I fell quick. Almost too quick, but he fell for me too and the power of his love and adoration for me is what can get me through a hard day. And kissing him never gets old, one kiss turns into two and two kisses turn into three. The kissing still makes you feel fuzzy inside and when he bites your lip there’s nothing else that can make him sexier. Kissing someone you love should never be taken for granted, ever, because it’s their lips that you crave when you’re alone and feeling down. What is like wanting to be with the one you love all the time? It’s a few sleepless nights and thoughts on a piece of paper at 3am. It’s remembering everything that he does and smiling to yourself. It’s looking over pictures of you both and listening to songs that take you back to some of your first memories together. It’s seeing him after missing him and feeling his hands caress your face as he kisses you. It’s waking up in the middle of the night and seeing the silhouette the of his body and putting his arm around him to hold him tightly, because even though he’s sleeping you want him to know that you love him and it’s when he moves slightly and gently squeezes your hand or turns to face you and gives you a soft, sleepy kiss, letting you know that he loves you back. It’s the little things that make everything worth it.
